Nangang Jiuru Community is one of the few community development associations in Taiwan led by social workers, making it a rare "people-centered" community. The elderly, marginalized youth, and young children all receive excellent care and attention within this community. Executive Director Chien-chih, Hsieh mentioned that the original aim of establishing the community development association was to care for the environment. However, with the involvement of social workers, the community not only focuses on the natural environment but also on the human environment, making residents feel that their lives are warmer and filled with "pink bubbles" of love and care.
